Navigation issue with title/name photo galleries (accidental misrouting)

I searched for existing reports of this, but nothing jumped out at me. I've noticed it over the past week or so, it may have existed longer than that but I don't believe it was always this way (since the new gallery pages came online), something changed with how navigation works.

In a desktop browser (I'm using Chrome on Fedora Linux, but I don't believe the platform affects things), from any Title page or Name page, if you:

  1. Click on any one of the Photos displayed on the main page, to open it in full-page view
(Note: That full-page view currently has a "× Close" link in the upper left, which will return to the previously-viewed Title or Name page. That'll be important later.)
  2. Click the Brady Bunch icon (the 9-box grid) in the upper right corner, to bring up the gallery index page
  3. Click "< Back" in the upper left corner (which will have an effect similar to hitting "back" in your browser, in other words it will return to the full-page, single-photo view)
  4. The single-photo page's "× Close" link has been replaced with a "< Home" link, which will do just what it says on the tin — take you to the IMDb main landing page via the URL https://www.imdb.com/?ref_=mv_close
  5. Meaning that, after only three navigations from a Title or Name starting point, there is no longer any way to RETURN to that Title or Name page — the starting point has been lost.

(Technically, there IS a way to return to the starting point, but only through the very unintuitive method of clicking corresponding link in the "Titles" or "People" list at the bottom of the photo page.)

Intuitively, I would expect the "< Back" link from the photo gallery page to take me "back" to the Title or Name page I started from (to function more like an "Up" link, in other words), not to perform the same navigation as my browser's "back" button.

(But not even the same, because using the actual browser "back" button from the photo gallery index returns me to a single-photo view with the correct "× Close" link, not the "< Home" link that replaces it when using the on-page "< Back".)
