NCIS Season 12 epsiode 14 Cadence and Harry Chapin's 'Mr Tanner'

When this episode of NCIS screened I immediately got the Harry Chapin references which clearly the writers laid out in it. The character, Tony Dinozzo's mentor, is always referred to as Mr Tanner and the murdered marine is John Wallace. Mr Tanner is a song by Harry Chapin from his Heads and Tails album and the bass baritone parts of that song are performed by John Wallace. I was the only person to pick up on this at the time and it has never been added to the trivia or reference section of this episode. Considering the love that went into writing this episode around a song written by a person who was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Freedom it should rate a mention. Thank you.
