Netflix has been added to the IMDb Watchbar and Watch Options in the US, IN,
MX, and DE

Excited to announce that as of March 1, 2021, we've added Netflix to our Watchbar and Watch Options in the US, India, Mexico, and Germany, joining over 50 providers available in the US and dozens more in the rest of the world. Check it out now on IMDb or on our mobile apps! We look forward to enhancing the IMDb customer experience by adding new features and new countries over time.

If you're seeking "praise", then I shall praise you!  If you add Netflix and Hulu to "instant watch options" in Advanced Title Search, then I'll praise more.  If your AI can match a title and its release year with the correct version of the title on a watch option, then I'll praise you most.

Even publishing the parameter values for ATS would be helpful, so we could edit the URL.

And beyond ATS, including non-Amazon Instant Watch alternatives within the Refine feature on lists.

Thanks for the "praise"! In truth, I couldn't figure out which of the options was best suited to this type of announcement :).

Thanks for the feature requests / recommendations! We are aware of these gaps in ATS and lists and hope to fix these in the near future.

We do already support list filtering by watch provider in our mobile apps (check out your Watchlist, Top 250, or Popular TV Shows and tap 'Streaming' in the filter pills along the top). Hope that helps!

@bderoes, I prefer ATS to search my lists because ATS has more filters and enables multi-select of the fewer filters in a list's refine options.

@John Hello John, I’m writing you about a new issue I just noticed last evening Monday April 11, 2022, as I was looking to watch my nightly movie…. I began by scrolling through my saved movies and then when I decided on one I went to that movie’s “watch” options… and it wasn’t there!!!
Startled at this missing beloved feature, I began looking at other movies and found many that also didn’t any longer have this watch option. … but there were a few that did… so, if you would,  could you please explain what is happening concerning the missing “watch” option  ??

 Thank you for your help.

@Beecool53  Thanks for the problem report and sorry for the inconvenience.

In order to diagnose the problem, please can you let us know (a) in which country are you located (b) how are you accessing IMDb, and if via an app, which platform and app version number (c) 2-3 example titles where you were expecting watch offers which are now missing.

@Beecool53  We now have other reports of the issue with these details and we are investigating.

That's a good idea, for the Help Center.

For reference, please note that Freevee (aka IMDbTV aka FreeDive), Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Showtime, Starz, Apple, Paramount, AMC, Tubi, Plex and Pluto, among several others, are supported in varying degrees.

Standing out among streaming services that have not thus far been participants of this program are FilmRise, Vudu and XUMO, as well as YouTube's "Movies & TV" collection.

Long ago, IMDb was integrated in some way with the Internet Archive, so we used to be able to track what in the public domain was hosted there. I hope this can return to having a place in the instant watch options feature.

I forgot to mention Crackle, as one of the represented streaming services.
