Agreed. There are often paragraph breaks in the editing feature, but on the site they are being removed; there isn't even a space, as above: "these cases are handled by other units and divisions.The viewers are introduced to two homicide detectives" https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098844/plotsummary/#synopsis The general plot guidelines do say not to use line breaks, but your own pictured example of a synopsis does include paragraph breaks. Not allowing paragraphs in long synopses is not helpful. I think it would be an improvement if there was a way to reformat a synopsis to put in paragraph breaks. Some of the synopses—e.g., those written for CSI: Miami—are just enormous, long walls of text.
