Not getting "Watchlisted Shows on Tonight" notification emails (2)

I receive emails confirmation from imdb.com, and notifications about new logins to the site under my account, but I have never received a single notification about changes in the status of the movies I am subscribed to. Despite the fact that I have the "Watchlisted Movies in Wide Release" and "Watchlisted Shows on Tonight" settings enabled. For example, I have not received notifications about the release of the following movies: Eve Was Star (2024) It: A coisa (2024) O Leiteiro (2024) Rabbit Trap (2025) Salem's Lot (2024) The Institute (2025) The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024) The Monkey (2025) I don't have any automatic email filters that could have caused these notifications to end up in my trash, and these emails weren't in my spam folder, which I clean out manually. (This is a continuation of the "Not getting "Watchlisted Shows on Tonight" notification emails" conversation, currently in the "Closed" and "Solved" status)

@Louie_Arias Thanks for the problem report. Please follow the troubleshooting guide at https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/manage-your-email-subscriptions-and-watchlist-notifications/GFSALECHJBMR4U5B Note that the emails relating to contributions and logins are sent via a different system than the notification emails, so we are allowed to send these without the same requirements as listed in the help text. Next, there are explanations why you would not have been notified about some of the example releases above: Eve Was Star (2024): This is a short and we only notify on wide feature releases. It: A coisa (2024): This is an audio book O Leiteiro (2024): This is also a short (and with only a release date in Brazil last year). Rabbit Trap (2025): This has not yet received a qualifying wide release per the help text above. For the other titles, other than "The Institute" the release dates are not recent so we are wondering whether you are reporting issues from last year or whether you are expecting notifications for releases which are not recorded on IMDb? If you have recently changed your country settings on https://www.imdb.com/registration/details then please ensure we have release dates for these shows in your country and let us know which country this is so we can investigate further. Done (Russia was selected when registering, but I'm interested in digital premieres, not the start of showings in theaters) Now I guess that on your site you can't get a notification about the first release of an expected film, no matter where it, the release, took place. Is that true? > the release dates are not recent I wrote above that I never received notifications, neither this year, nor last year? nor earlier. If the data on imdb.com/user/ur138196044/badges/ reflects the time that has passed since the registration date, then for me it's 4 years. Then I added most of the titles listed above, and over the past four years I have not received a single update about their statuses, although they were released during this time both in theaters and on online streaming platforms.

@Louie_Arias To answer your question, no sorry, the notifications are local to your country and we do not offer a service which notifies on first release anywhere. Russia is not supported for theatrical showtimes. We would notify you of TV release dates in Russia, but only if those were recorded in IMDb before the airdate. You could consider switching your IMDb country setting to the US and that would at least generate notifications of releases there (which in any case, is where our release date coverage is the most comprehensive). Sorry we could not be of more help.
