Other users unable to access my public list

I have the following Titles List set as Public.
My Top 100 Movies:  https://www.imdb.com/list/ls050184468

When other users attempt to view it, they get:
This list is not public
The creator of this list has not enabled public viewing

I have reported this problem twice and it was fixed both times, but now it is broken again.
Could someone from IMDB please try to figure out why this keeps happening?

It appears that many users have been experiencing this problem but I haven't found a good explanation for it anywhere.

This conversation mentions an automated process that disables lists with certain content, and that it may have something to do with hyperlinks in the list description:
https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/my-list-is-set-as-public-but-shows-as-private-to-others-help/649d263bd5e0bd6c567de73a

This doesn't make a lot of sense to me since links in the list description are very common. I've seen lots of user's lists with links in the list description and I can access them with no problem. I have 15 lists with links in the list description myself, and my "Top 100 Movies" list is the only one that is having this problem. So, if links in the list description has anything to do with the problem, there must be another variable that hasn't been identified. Otherwise I would be having this problem with other lists as well.

I wondered if the problem has to do only with links to websites other than IMDB, but I have five lists that link to the same YouTube playlist (containing trailers and scenes from my Top 100 Movies), and again, my "Top 100 Movies" list is the only one of them that is having this problem.

This list is one of four that contains the same "Trailers and Scenes" link as my "Top 100 Movies" list,

but has never had this problem:  https://www.imdb.com/list/ls086180145

To determine if this problem is related to the contents of my one list that is experiencing it, I have created a new "My Top 100 Movies" list, copied all of the contents from the original list into it, and updated my various links to it. If the problem is related to the contents of that list, I should experience the same problem with the new version of it. If I don't experience the same problem with the new version, it will mean that the problem must be something else.

Here is the new version of my list:

Hello @MSebring,

I've fixed your list https://www.imdb.com/list/ls050184468/. Please check it and let us know if you experience the same issue.

Please note that having hyperlinks in your listing description causes your listing to be blocked by our system. To avoid the same problem in the future, we recommend removing the hyperlinks.

Hello @MSebring,

I have read what you have told us and I thank you for your comments on the situation. However, let me clarify what I meant to say, the system does not block all the lists that have hyperlinks at the same time, but the system for security reasons checks the lists one by one and if it detects hyperlinks it will not open the links for security reasons and will block the list. That is why you have some lists with hyperlinks without this problem. As mentioned above, if you do not want the problem to happen again, we recommend you to remove the hyperlinks.

We appreciate your comments and understanding.

This still doesn't make sense.

IMDB specifically provides the ability to place links in list descriptions.
Why would they penalize users for using a feature that they provide?

Plus, many users use this cool ability to link their lists to each other.
There must be hundreds of Public lists that use this feature.
And now that some of those lists are having this unusual problem
you're saying that we shouldn't be using this feature anymore?

Please clarify this:

Are you saying that we should remove ALL links from our list descriptions,

or that we just need to remove links to websites other than IMDB?

I found this explanation of how to add links to a name or title page to a list description without

entering the entire URL:
https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/how-do-i-create-a-link-in-one-of-my-descriptions/GFC4688CN69BSF4M?ref_=helpart_nav_16#

But I tried it in a link to a list and it doesn't work. It apparently only works for name and title pages.

This list uses a technique that I often use.
Classic Movies:  https://www.imdb.com/list/ls521738112/

I have several related lists and they each have a link section at the bottom of their description that

contains links to the other related lists, so that when you're in one, you can easily find the others.

I always thought that this was the most common use for links in a list description,

and now you're telling me that you shouldn't do this if you want your list to remain Public.

@Jon

I just found this conversation about external links in lists being disabled:

https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/lists-reenable-external-links/5f4a79928815453dba81b287

One thing that is still unclear to me is whether "external links" includes links to other YouTube pages

(i.e. links that begin with "http://www.imdb.com/").

What I'd like to know is this:

To ensure that my lists remain Public, do I just need to remove the links to my YouTube playlist,

or do I also need to remove the links to my other IMDB lists?

I am going to delete my original "My Top 100 Movies" list (which was broken but is now fixed again)

since I've replaced it with a new one, and the old one doesn't seem to be needed anymore.

@Jon

Before deleting the list that you fixed for me (since I have created a new one to replace it),

I decided to use it to test a hypothesis I presented earlier, and was able to prove it was correct.
Whatever you did to fix the list, that fix was not permanent.

I made an update to the list description, and the list was immediately broken again.

This explains why the problem with that list kept recurring.

Hello @MSebring,

As I mentioned before, it is advisable not to have hyperlinks in your lists. However, I did not point out why it is not recommended. Currently, we have a technical limitation with the option of having hyperlinks in the lists. You can have internal links, but it is not recommended to add external links at the moment.

Thank you for the testing you have been doing and for reporting this situation. I have passed the feedback to our technical team for review. Nevertheless, for the meantime, it is preferable not to have hyperlinks in the lists, so that the situation does not keep repeating.

Thank you for your understanding.

I have removed the link to my YouTube playlist from all of my lists that had it.
If I understand you correctly, it is all right to have internal links,
so I kept all of my links to my other IMDB lists.
