The homepage poll should have a space of it's own like the old days. Polls used to gather 15.000 votes and now 1.300 most. Someone's got to do something about it.

What Amazon is missing here is that it is an excellent marketing tool. Some folks will be exposed to a title they are not familiar with, and actually rent that title making them money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Paok_Kilkis Indeed. It was terrible for the polls visibility to remove them from the homepage, it is a decission I'll hope to see corrected everyday.

@K_PAXTON Indeed, each poll could be a treasure of marketing data about movie preferences and the more visibility the better.

@Pencho15 Some folks can't see an opportunity staring them straight in the face!

I'll give people in the Poll section a chance to vote, then I'll probably move this to the IMDb.com section so it may be seen by other eyes.

@Col_Needham​ Since your last reply on April 22, 2023, it has been 11 months and still no updates or improvements regarding the same. Polls that are getting featured on home pages under "Editors' Picks" column get at an average of 500-700 votes and that too in 5-7 days. Which means just a 100 votes a day. During the old times polls used to get 3k-5k votes daily because those used to get featured under a separate independent section at the botton portion of the home page.

@Col_Needham Since the redesign is completed , can we expect the home page features to make a comeback ?

@Dibyayan_Chakravorty​ Yes, it just happened a few days ago. We haven't got any news of the polls being moved to the new technology yet.

@Pencho15​ Speaking of new technology, I am seeing a new version of my IMDb profile page since last week and I don't like it at all. Still there is an option to view older version of the page but the profile bio section is now having a character limitation. I have to think some different way to keep a record of my poll statistics and records. This was really really not needed. There shouldn't be a character limitation in the bio. Let the users write their thoughts in their bio.
