public list not accessible by other users

My understanding is if you make the list public other users can add to it. This was the answer I got from a google search and what seemed to be the case from various threads on a similar or same subject on this site. You’re sure other users can’t add to public lists on IMDb? Maybe I’m missing something

Hi mvg7113, gromit82 is correct, lists can only be edited by the list owner, regardless of the list's privacy status. Cheers!
