repetitive ads (inane)

Every time I watch a trailer the same add plays every time. It’s 15 seconds long and promotes the actual app I am watching it on, which I downloaded YEARS ago. (4 trailers = 1 minute and so on) Is this designed to be “Chinese water torture” so I seek a paid subscription to avoid paying with this abusive waste of my time and attention?
