search bar dropdown stuck in firefox

I'm finding it extremely annoying that there is no way to close the dropdown search results from the search-bar from any imdb title page, the issue is, right now im using firefox browser, and whenever i type anything in the search-bar and some suggestions come up, whenever i right-click on any of the search results and click open-in-a-new-tab thingy, and stay on the same page coz i don't wanna immediately close this page im on right now, the search-bar is kinda stuck, i mean it simply does not closes even when i click on an empty dark area in that page. So basically if i had searched up some movie title and right-click'd on it and opened it up on a new tab, the search bar on the current page is stuck, i mean it works but its in drop-down state, it just simply does not closes !!!
