Searches coming up empty when the films ARE listed

When researching vintage adults-only TITLES from the 50s and 60's, most always the search comes up empty. But, when I dig deeper by searching for an actor, director, or producer, I see the title IS, in fact, listed. Why am I NOT seeing my original search when the film title is plainly in there?
