Sell IMDb merchandise...T-shirts, mugs, etc.

Hello,I think it would be a good idea for IMDb to sell merchandise like T-shirts, Coffee mugs, etc., to help with costs and perhaps reduce the need to sell as much advertising space (although I kind of think the ad's would continue, but it's a nice thought).I know I'd buy a couple things. Amazon would be a logical place to sell them from!Shirts, Hats, coffee mug, beer mug, wine glass...perfect gift idea for the man/woman who has everything! Maybe a shirt with the logo on the front and "Jack warned me..." on the back. Okay, maybe not.Just don't sell the shirt then change the logo...there's enough complaining about things changing without adding that one! I can already hear it...(actually though, that's not a bad idea, kind of like sports teams changing colors so everyone goes out to buy the new jersey style, then the old style again later when it's "retro")

Offering IMDb branded merchandise is a great idea. Even if only one percent of the IMDb user base buys such merchandise, there would be significant sales. One downside is that Threadless is advertises on the IMDb. Offering IMDb branded merchandise may raise issues with that advertiser.

Or they could team up with Threadless - after all, they are probably not going to do it in-house, so will want to find a partner to work with, why not someone they have a relationship with already?
