Sort Watchlist by Watched status of titles

We cannot sort our watchlist by whether we have seen it or not currently. This would obviously be a very useful feature.

a_nn Your Watchlist is really intended for titles you want to see; once you have watched something you can rate it or mark it as watched (see https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/ratings-faq/G67Y87TFYYP6TWAV & https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/new-features-updates/mark-as-watched-faq/GR2SD7Y4LZVNHUVH). However, if you prefer to keep watched and unwatched titles together in your Watchlist, you can do any of the vast array of sort and filter options on any list, including your Watchlist, via advanced title search at https://www.imdb.com/search/title/ For example, here is every title on your Watchlist sorted by your rating: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?my_ratings=restrict&lists=watchlist&sort=my_ratings,desc For more information on Advanced Title Search, please see: https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/discover-watch/using-the-advanced-search-feature/GLUEUYWPQNPTEVPU Hope this helps.

So 3 things, lets say we leave watchlist only for things you still want to watch. 1. The alternative list for titles you've seen, 'watch history' does not have normal list functionality. So for example you can't even exclude it in advanced search, or mass copy/move titles. 2. Even if I now want to mass remove all my watched titles from the watchlist I'd still need the above functionality, no one can be bothered to sift manually through their watchlist to do so. 3. Watched/non watched isn't as deeply integrated as the watchlist checkmark to quickly check whether you've had a title on your radar already. Take https://www.imdb.com/calendar/ or https://www.imdb.com/imdbpicks/staff-picks/for example, where only watchlist checkmarks are visible. Users are now pushed to rate all titles they have seen rather than rely only on watched/non watched to get access to useful advanced search and list functionality. I get that that is good for the health of IMDb but it shouldn't be a requirement and it seems a little shady to force people to do need to do this.

@a_nn Thanks for clarifying. Yes, the above is all planned functionality. It is just that Watched was only launched a few months ago so it has not yet been connected to all of the list & search functionality, sorry (announcement at https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/imdb-introduces-watched-formerly-known-as-seen/67ea80e2dedd5e250dbb2bdb). We will forward your feedback to the relevant team.
