In Progress
Stepchildren
In the contribution form for family details, child, step-child and adopted child are separate options, but the data is displayed on name and bio pages as one list of children. This can be confusing. In 2022 there was this post here about it, and it seems the display was then changed for a while to include the specific relationship in parentheses. https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/katharine-mcphee/630e03e6892fc367e24816e9 But soon after that, the name and bio pages were redesigned, so perhaps this detail was lost. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1897713/bio/?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm#family

Hello.
This page:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1539540/
belongs to the son of the current Queen of Norway,
he is however not the Son of the King of Norway,
he has a biological father that is alive, and he is not adopted,
so the king of Norway is his bonus dad/step dad.
But on IMDb the King of Norway has him listed as Parent,
I then clicked on the edit button and the side bar apears
an I see that in the edit form he is already listed as
"Step-parent isHaakon VIII, Kong"So apparently it is registered correctly in the database, it is just displayed wrong. Now this is an important distinction betewen step- children and children in a royal familiy, becuase he is a step son he is not a prince and is not in line to the throne. Can you please fix so Step parents are displayed as Step Parent and not Parent?See picture:1
