the sinners top 250 ?

hello, i see this movie is a solid 8.2 from 50k plus reviewers. it's classified 138 in the top english above fargo and other movies charted 180 or above in the top 250. you forgot to grant the chart to this movie ? i know the expert review system but it's not an indian, an anime or a superhero movie that have tons of fans waiting for the release to pump up the rating. maybe you forgot it ?

This wording at the bottom of the Top 250 list might need improving: "The list is ranked by a formula which includes the number of ratings each movie received from users, and value of ratings received from regular users." I don't think the list is just ranked by a different formula. I think eligibility to be ON the list is also determined by that formula.

I would have thought the Top Rated English Movies were ranked in the same way. But perhaps that chart is not restricted to regular voters?

@Peter_pbn No, the two charts are not calculated the same way. Only main Top 250 uses the regular voter filter (as you suspected). The two lists diverge fairly early on with the Top 250 having: 17. GoodFellas (1990) 18. Interstellar (2014) 19. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) vs. Top English: GoodFellas (1990) One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) Interstellar (2014) and so on down the list with sometimes small and sometimes larger order swaps.
