I do not feel comfortable with that proposition.
First of all, it does not provide a badly needed information, maybe for not being used to, but anyway.
Then, I am more interested in the movie and hence in the character characteristics than by the actors ones. There are hundreds of cases where an actor/actress has played a role with a notable age difference with his/hers own. Moreover when the character is ageing. If age is the matter, the character one is much more interesting to display than the actor's one.
Last but not least, movies are very often released months and even years after the actual shooting, which means that that actors' age may have increased in between. So to be accurate, the filming period should be considered to display the age, not the released date.
And what if the actor gets his birthday during the shooting?
So it looks like a lot of questiosn for a piece of information which i fiund somewhat rather uninteresting.
