Trivia submission guidelines

Is there any way to get more specific feedback on denied trivia submissions? Ususally, when something is denied, I resubmit it with an explanation and that often helps it to get accepted, but not always, and the provided explanation is almost always that it "does not meet submission guidelines." However, I've reviewed the submission guidelines multiple times and I almost never know which guideline isn't being met so, I don't know what to change to get the trivia accepted. I've tried requesting specific feedback in the explanation portion, but perhaps they only have preset options. Any advice on how to get more specific feedback, or any other ideas here? Thanks!

vnocita: Your best bet would be to post the full data submission here on this message board.

Sometimes the contributors here will be able to advise you if there is any way to improve the submission to get it accepted.

Other times there might not have been anything wrong with the submission in the first place, in which case the staff might let you know that the rejection was due to a processing error and re-submit the item for you.

Hello vnocita

You can post the submission reference number for the contributions and we can take a look for you, to find put why the rejections.

You can find your submission history in your Contribution History page.

Thank you gromit and Fran for your responses!!

This is the reference number I see on the contributions page for this item: #251218-041746-142000

I did submit three items at once, and two were accepted with explanations, but the third was declined. It's for It: Welcome to Derry and I'll include the item and attached explanation here:

Additional character connections: Sheriff Clint Bowers is the father of Oscar "Butch" Bowers, who also works at the Derry Police Department and will go on to become the father of bully Henry Bowers. The young man seen working at Second Hand Rose listing inventory when Charlotte first meets Rose will presumably take over the store, eventually selling Bill Denborough back his bike as the character portrayed by Stephen King in It: Chapter Two. Pharmacist Norbert Keene, who frequently interacts with Eddie Kaspbrak, makes a brief appearance when Charlotte is first exploring Derry. Alvin Marsh, father of Beverly Marsh, has his name inside a heart graffitied on the girl's bathroom stall at school.
This item was previously denied for containing duplicate information. After reviewing the trvia items for It: Welcome to Derry, duplicated and unnecessary information has been removed. If this still does not meet submission guidelines, please provide more specific feedback. Thank you!

@vnocita The first time I submitted this item, I had included more information that I found was duplicated on the show's trivia page, so I removed that and resubmitted. It was declined again for the same reason, duplicated information, though none of it is currently duplicated on the show's page, and I think only one is duplicated in an episode's trivia page (I personally feel like duplications should be allowed between shows and episodes, since the show pages get so much more traffic than the episode pages, but that's a different topic for a different time - I'm including it here because I'm not sure if that's something that's looked at).

Thank you!!
