Unable to view actor filmography from iPhone

I don’t know if it is because I once held an IMDbPro account, or if it is some new demand being implemented, but anytime I look up a known actor to view their filmography, I am not allowed to proceed without signing up for IMDbPro. Like, wtf?? I am simply being a curious member of society wanting to see what other films this actor has been in. Why am I disallowed from doing so without paying for a damn account? It’s ridiculous.

@wiltsmr It sounds like you are still using the IMDbPro app? The free IMDb app does not behave as you describe above and it can be installed at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/imdb-movies-tv-shows/id342792525 Hope this helps.

It’s not even from the app, it’s from a web browser using Google. For example, I could Google “Andy Samberg IMDb”. The first result that comes up is from “https://m.imdb.com”. If I select “Filmography”, it immediately takes me to “pro.IMDb.com” and I can’t do anything else without renewing my membership.

@wiltsmr Thanks for clarifying. We see the same behaviour and this appears to be a bug on Google's side and we will report it to them. In the meantime, instead of tapping "Filmography" just click (in your example) "Andy Samberg" directly under "IMDb" at the top of the search results.

I have done that, as well, being taken directly to the actor’s page. But, once again, if choosing to look at anything outside of the homepage (Filmography, See All, etc.), I am brought to the page demanding I renew my membership. No matter what avenue I take from my iPhone, I am redirected to being unable to see what I wish without renewing membership.

Please could you clarify this aspect of the problem further? In our example, once you land on https://m.imdb.com/name/nm1676221/ where have you tapped on this page which still directs you to IMDbPro? If the issue with the additional IMDbPro links is on Google's side, what search terms did you use there and which results on Google did you click which incorrectly redirect to IMDbPro? Thanks.
