watch list emails

How happy was I to get the e-mail titled from your watch list on tonight. It knew that the next episode of monarch legacy of monsters would be available tonight. I clicked on where to watch and got the details on the episode and the ability to add it to my watch list. Why is there nothing that says where to watch? Why would I add an episode to my watch list when the show is already on it ?
