Watchlist order

I was promised over two and one half years ago by Col that the software behind the Watchist would correct an error where when selecting the watchlist to be displayed by ’Alphabetically’ option it would do so inaccuratey by the title letters, including numerous titles not in the correct order, eg film starting with letter ‘T’ found within the listing featuring those titles began with ‘E’. However, this has still not been corrected. Hugely annoying for a number of reasons which I won’t spend time explaining. Col, why no correction as promised?

@jim_bloggs If you are referring to this thread, https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/watchlist-order/649a471fd5e0bd6c567d7a07 then please re-read our response. We stated: “Once the lists are on the new software, we will be in a better position to be able to sort alphabetically by local title at a later date. We will convert this post into an Idea thread to track the request.” This was not a promise to fix the issue by a specific date, sorry. The lists software only finally moved to the new software system over the summer after a significant delay caused by the complexities of the move. This was the blocker to any progress on this issue, however, in two years the Idea thread only has one customer vote (and that vote is from me). There are many open issues with lists even post-migration. The product management team regularly review open Idea threads when considering priorities for fixes / new features, however, we never promise specific timelines on when specific issues and ideas might be addressed. I will forward this message to the product management team as a reminder.
