would be nice to get a reminder when a new season is out

This is not including next Seasons. So, I've seen to seasons, not knowing if there will ever be season3. So I don't like to put the series in my watchlist, only the next season (3) when it's available. I even would like to mark season x as watched, and not series watched.

Hello michelrbe, Thank you for your message. We'll notifiying when a movie on your Watchlist is about to release and also, when a show from your Watchlist is airing. When a next season is confirmed, IMDb will show a message letting you know when it will be released so you decide if you'd like to add/keep it on your watch list, for example, see "The Pitt": https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31938062/. Regarding marking a season as watched, We have updated the post to an "Idea" so other community members can vote/comment on this feature improvement and staff can monitor to gauge interest.

So, at this moment I need to add 200 series I have ever watched to the Watchlist, just to be sure I get a message that there is a new season?! This would overcloud the new series and films I just added to my Watchlist :(
