claiming my page

Question for a colleague who just signed up today: "My name is in the imdb database already but I just created an account today. I can't see any way to claim my page. I've searched and have read that I needed to have done this at the point of creating an account, but I saw no prompts for this. Now my page/profile is created. How do I claim my page now?" Thanks for any help!
