No Status

Credits page reloads/contracts every time — new profile layout

I just re-joined IMDb Pro, and the name page has been redesigned since last time I was a subscriber. Since then, I've noticed that opening the Credits tab causes the whole page to visibly contract and reload a second after the initial load (see attached video, captured on Ben Affleck's page).

Looking closer, this seems to happen whenever a person has more than a handful of credits in a category. My guess: the page first renders the full list of credits, then reloads/contracts in order to insert a "See all" link once a category exceeds a certain number of entries. That would also explain why it doesn't matter which grouping (by type, status, or category) is set as default — the same thing happens regardless, since it's tied to the credit count, not the grouping itself. Removing filters doesn't make a difference either.

What I don't understand is why this can't be handled without a visible reload — either by rendering the truncated list with "See all" directly, or by only adding it client-side without a full re-render. This was never an issue on the previous version of the name page.

That said, even if it wouldn't reload when "by status" is set as default, I think IMDb Pro should be able to handle displaying by the other grouping options without a reload as well. Other professional sites — even free ones — manage this just fine.

I've reproduced this on both Firefox and Chrome (desktop), so it doesn't seem to be a browser-specific quirk on my end — but I'm open to the possibility that it's something local to my account or setup if others aren't seeing it.

I don't want this to come across as nitpicking: for a paid product from a company with Amazon's resources, a visible re-render/layout shift on the single page I use most (Credits) is the kind of bug I'd expect to get caught before rollout. I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm whether this is a known issue and, if so, whether a fix is planned.

Happy to provide more details (screen size, zoom level, extensions disabled, etc.) if that helps troubleshoot. Thanks for any help.
