Free trial cancellation mess up

Hi, I am very stressed and need some help. I signed up to a IMDB PRO free trail for 30 days and set a reminder to cancel it on the 16th of November as I thought the money was being taken on the 17th of November. However after cancelling I noticed the money had been taken as I didn't realise the billing date was the 16th. I am very worried as I am currently unemployed and desperately need this money to put petrol in my car. I have emailed asking for help and a refund as I know it was my mistake but I didn't realise.
