IMDbPro Name Page refresh - early access available soon

We are excited to announce that, starting today, we are gradually rolling out the option for IMDbPro Premium members to view a refreshed IMDbPro Name page design. The refreshed Name pages offer full data and feature parity with the current version, with an improved layout that prioritizes the display of information and features that customers use most (detail below). We are continuously updating this experience after carefully reviewing all the feedback we receive.
Here’s what to expect:
* Feature parity - you will have access to all of the same IMDbPro data on the updated IMDbPro Name pages, including in-development credits, STARmeter rankings, contact data, representation info, and client rosters
*Streamlined page management - You will have direct access to all your editing tools in-line on your own Name page, including setting profession, uploading primary images, selecting Known For titles, and updating your Resume profile.
* Improved layouts - we are prioritizing the most-used information and features, such as contact data and client rosters. Credits for TV and Film are now combined into a single chronological view, with filters.
* NEW Research notes - Jot down notes on IMDbPro Name pages - visible only to you - about meetings, talent, opportunities to collaborate, and more.
* Mobile friendly - you will have full feature parity between desktop and mobile browsers and can continue to use the IMDbPro app, which is available for both iOS and Android
* More visibility to Connections data - you can see your shared titles and mutual connections with people across IMDbPro
* Localized translations - view translated content if you have a non-English language preference set for IMDb
This refreshed experience will also begin rolling out to IMDbPro Basic subscription members as well over a gradual period in the coming weeks.
As you have the opportunity to use the refreshed IMDbPro pages, please share your thoughts here. Your feedback matters, and your input helps us make IMDbPro the essential resource for professionals in the entertainment industry.
Thank you!
— The IMDbPro team

Please god no, this is terrible. Function > In-App aesthetics. Please revert IMDb Pro to the old layout.

Somehow the Edit Page is missing at the top or bottom, so I can't create my vanity URL.
Please fix this.

The profile pic doesn't transfer from one to the other. Please change the dimensions allowed so my whole headshot can be seen. PLEASE. Also, please allow us to choose our own order of Reps. Right now it's on some default order and I would like my LA agent to be listed FIRST. In general this whole site is so difficult to navigate and not user friendly at all

One of the biggest problems I have overall, in the old site is that every time I change my profile picture, it keeps reverting back to the old one after changing it over and over. So frustrating.

Not a fan and making no effort to remedy the blatantly bad starmeter is just such a lousy effort from IMDb.
And for god's sake - either allow new people to add their Instagram link or completely remove it for everyone. Elitism is at the core here and there is no "design improvement" if that is what you are going to be founded on.

IMDb team, this feels like it really needs more time before going live. The individual elements are ok on their own, but when you view a page as a whole it looks fragmented and harder to read than it should be. Everything feels split into separate areas that don’t quite connect, which makes it difficult to know where to look or how to take the information in.
The content is all there, it just feels broken up into too many pieces!

First, the page should just open to credits and the bio, like it normally does. That is the majority of what people use this thing for... So, you put up a barrier... fine... But, you made it so confusing and unclear. Why have "by status" "previous" etc... that is not super clear, and also no one asked for that. But, you make us choose, fine (eye roll)... but when you do click one of these arbitrary categories, it just shows the image of the project, and in little grey letters a slight hint at your role/position, but it doesn't have all the information in one spot. I have to click on each project and scroll through the project page's many categories to piece together that Steven So and So was an Actor, Producer, and Writer on whatever show... Why not just include all of that in one spot. These new categories are lame, and don't hold the information clearly. Even the word "Daughter" gets cut short so you need to enter the individual project page just to see what Daught could possibly mean... Daughter... Ugh... If someone held multiple positions on a film, it should summarize it in one line on the filmography section... it's not good, guys. This new thing is not good. It's. Not. Good. You can't easily get the information anymore, and you have this GIANT star meter at the top that we all collectively hate. It also implies that a low meter means this person isn't worth investing into, and it's just not a good look. Literally no one cares about star meter, so don't make it the majority of the top of the page. You have so much wasted space on the new layout, but you can't even fit the word "daughter"... What are you doing right now? Yuck. Why? Please go back. You were fine. If you want a change, just update the graphics and call it a day.

I'm not a fan of the updated STARmeter graph now that it shows every single week across the entire full timeline. I really liked the old version where, as you zoomed out, it grouped things into 4 or 8 week high points. It made long-term momentum easier to understand at a glance. The new layout feels a bit too granular and noisy when looking back over longer periods. I think bringing back the aggregated view would make the graph much more useful for seeing bigger-picture trends and feel less scrutinizing overall.

Where's IMDbpro 7-day shareable link now? Was this feature removed?

Updated starmeter no longer has the option of switching between a logrithmic and standard scale. Makes it difficult to view/make sense of long careers. I would love to have this feature back

I'd love to know why 1) StarMeter fell for so many people so terribly starting at least six months ago (and I know what Imdb says about this -- that it's all correct! -- but it can't be). And 2) Why do the Page Views, when they show up, keep changing every day (first a Director, then no Director but a Casting Director, then the next day changed to Additional Crew), and then disappear altogether after a couple of days? And 3) Why not tell us who ALL the views are, not just who you decide are most important? (Additional Crew is more important than Casting Director? Really?!) So many bugs on this site, and we pay for it!

I don't like the "new" way that credits are displayed. I like the older version a lot better. It just shows the actor's name under my podcast description. The older version would display the name of the actor, the episode name, and release date... It gets very confusing for my guests because they keep asking me if I am sure that it was posted. I don't like having my guests going through that uncertainty.
If I tell them that I am add them on my guest page and they will receive an IMDb credit, then I don't want them to be confused.
Also, why does it take so long to apply a credit to specific actors' pages? I added a guest to my page a week ago and their IMDb credit still isn't showing and yet, an actor I interviewed yesterday had their credit applied immediately. I don't understand the processing times as to why some take longer than others. I also don't like the fact that the actors keep questioning my integrity after they don't see their newly applied credits to their page because it's taking a millenia to process the credit.
Can someone please explain to me why it takes so long to process a credit and if there is a way to expedite it?
