IMDbPro Title Page refresh coming soon

IMDbPro Title Page refresh coming soon

We are excited to announce that, starting today, we are rolling out early access for IMDbPro Premium members to view a refreshed IMDbPro Title page design. The refreshed Title pages offer an improved layout that prioritizes access to the information and features that customers use most.

Here's what to expect:

  • NEW Overview tab — Title pages on desktop now include an Overview tab that summarizes the overall content of the title in one place, so you can quickly get a snapshot before diving into specific sections

  • Built-in search and filters on Cast & Crew — Long cast and crew lists now include search filters to help you find the person you're looking for without scrolling through hundreds of credits

  • More release details at the top of the page — Title pages now more visibly surface information about all releases, giving you a fuller picture of a title's release context at a glance

  • Mobile-friendly MOVIEmeter charts — MOVIEmeter ranking charts are now optimized for mobile browsers, so you can track title popularity on the go

  • Localized translations — pages now display translated content if you have a non-English language preference set for IMDb

  • Feature parity — You will have access to all of the same IMDbPro data on the updated Title pages, including cast and crew credits, box office performance, MOVIEmeter rankings, company credits, contact data, and in-development project details

During the early access period, Premium members can opt-out of the refreshed view by clicking on the floating settings gear in the bottom right of the page. This refreshed experience will also begin rolling out to IMDbPro Basic subscription members over the coming weeks.

As you have the opportunity to use the refreshed IMDbPro pages, please share your thoughts here. Your feedback matters, and your input helps us make IMDbPro the essential resource for professionals in the entertainment industry.

Thank you!

I just noticed that the title pages are starting to be re-done. PLEASE STOP THIS. Just like the person pages, there is NO REASON to be doing this update.

The new title pages are very difficult to gather information because the new design has information spread out over the page and tabs. Whereas, before it was a quick glance/scan. And now it runs white over black, which is not as easy to read. C'mon IMDbPro, none of us who pay for this site asked for this. We just want the info, and don't need some artsy redo.

Please stop this rollout.

Hi sarahw - Thanks for sharing your feedback during the early access period. To help guide the team, could you share some more details about the glanceable information that you would like to be able to scan quickly? I will also ask the team for more details on the behind the scenes improvements that might be behind the refresh.

I don't know what else to say other than what I've already said. Roll back to what it was for the reasons given. These pages are not for "regular people." These pages are for professionals looking up information. And they were originally built for a quick scan, not a beauty project. And what the team has done is made them so unreadable. We don't have time for our eyes to be jumping around with white over black type and info all over the pages or on multiple tabs. It needs to be in the same format as before without multiple clicks.

Thanks for a new useful feature -- now we can sort releases by date and country.

However, in new design another feature (I use it much more often) is not implemented in the image gallery: we need the option to view the images by dates when they are uploaded. Please reinstate this very helpful feature. Thank you.
