Legacy Option on IMDbPro

Only the IMDbPro-related images (along with demo reels and resume data) disappear when the subscription ends. The credits remain. There is also a legacy class of images that do or could appear on IMDb name pages in the absence of IMDbPro, and the policy concerning them is that whichever one of those images happens to appear in the primary image slot is not to be altered unless the situation is a clear cut case of the person's face not being visible in the thumbnail. As of this time, I'm not going to explain how those images are able to show up on IMDb name pages, except to note that there is more than one way, and that sometimes an image (even an undesirable one) can accidentally be put into place, which is all the more reason to maintain an active IMDbPro subscription, so as to override such a function.

There are (or were) more proposal threads like this, but I cannot seem find them. One of the ideas proposed was to have a lower-priced service plan that only allows the person claiming an IMDb name page to customize the primary image, not providing access to any other IMDbPro features or perks.
