Listing top/total box office metrics

Are we EVER going to post what is the true gauge of how well something does compared to previous week/months/years?

Boxoffice Mojo really should start posting total tickets purchased, not just how much was spent.  Due to inflation I think it's evident that is not a true reading of how films compare to others.

I know the option is there to observe, but I think it should be the primary visual when you click on Boxoffice records and totals.  Doesn't everyone agree?
