Redesigned IMDbPro Mobile App

We're excited to introduce the redesigned IMDbPro mobile app! The latest update features refreshed Home and Name pages, making it easier to access the industry information you need. The improvements reflect direct feedback from entertainment professionals like you.

You'll find all the features you rely on, now with a more intuitive experience. This is just the beginning - we'll continue enhancing other important pages and features over time to improve the experience.

The redesign is rolling out gradually on both Android and iOS, so if you don’t see it yet, it will be available to you soon.

We hope you enjoy these latest improvements, and thank you for continuing to make IMDbPro the world's most trusted source of entertainment industry data, news, and content.

Hi Team - some feedback - please add Who Viewed Your Page on the app, so there's continuity through the desktop and app versions (Android and iOS). It's currently missing just from the App version of the site, so usually we have to manually skip the app altogether just to see the Page Views...it would be so helpful and decrease the work flow if it was available on the app. Thank you!

The IMDbPro redesign is terrible!

Website issues:

  • On an individual’s cover page, it now just says one credit per project. It should list all an individual's credits for that particular project.
  • All credits are lumped together, which is unhelpful. Separate feature film, tv, short, music video, (etc) credits

iOS app issues:

  • Separating titles by credit is superfluous and unhelpful.
  • If a person had multiple roles on a title (say, as a writer/director/editor), I should be able to see all three of their credits/roles underneath the title of the film. It is inefficient otherwise. Now IMDbPro has separated people’s credits into sections, so I can’t tell if someone just ‘wrote’ a project or if they ‘wrote’ AND ‘directed’ it, meaning that one title could be listed 3-5 times on one person’s IMDb page. This is extremely problematic for multi-hyphenates. I need to see everything that person has done on that particular project.
  • I can’t easily tell if a credit was a short, music video, feature film, tv episode etc. I preferred the previous IMDbPro page design, when it was divided into Features and TV, (and I personally think Shorts and Music Videos should be separated out as well). If you can’t separate the categories, then at least put (TV) (feature) (short) (music video) somewhere next to the title of the project.
