The Domestic Release Schedule on Box Office Mojo needs updates
I noticed some entries on the domestic release schedule at BoxOfficeMojo.com ( https://www.boxofficemojo.com/calendar/2025-05-01/ ) which appear to be incorrect.
May 2: "Thunderbolts*" is listed as a limited release. It actually opened in over 4,000 theaters.
May 2: "Rosario" has no distributor listed. The distributor is Mucho Mas Releasing. (The film has been released this weekend, but I don't know whether it is a wide release as listed here, or limited.)
May 9: "Nha Gha Tien" has no distributor listed. The distributor is Eastern Edge Films, and the English-language title is "The Ancestral Home".
May 9: "Golden" is listed as a wide release. In February, Universal Pictures announced that it was canceling the film's release completely. See https://variety.com/2025/film/news/pharrell-movie-shut-down-michel-gondry-golden-1236300426/ and other news items listed on the film's page from February 2025.
May 16: "Final Destination: Bloodlines" is listed as a limited release. From the theater listings on the film's official site, it appears to be a wide release.
May 23: "Lilo & Stitch" is listed as a limited release. It is actually going to be a wide release since it has been projected to gross $120 million its opening weekend. (See https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/lilo-and-stitch-and-mission-impossible-box-office-1236205234/ .)
May 23: A film listed as "Untitled Disney" is supposedly a limited release. Whatever this film is supposed to be, IMDbPro now lists it as being released August 7, 2026. (And I question whether it should be listed at all, since there is no way to keep track of which film it is with no cast, crew, or plotline available.)
