The Domestic Release Schedule on Box Office Mojo needs updates

I noticed some entries on the domestic release schedule at BoxOfficeMojo.com ( https://www.boxofficemojo.com/calendar/2025-05-01/ ) which appear to be incorrect. May 2: "Thunderbolts*" is listed as a limited release. It actually opened in over 4,000 theaters. May 2: "Rosario" has no distributor listed. The distributor is Mucho Mas Releasing. (The film has been released this weekend, but I don't know whether it is a wide release as listed here, or limited.) May 9: "Nha Gha Tien" has no distributor listed. The distributor is Eastern Edge Films, and the English-language title is "The Ancestral Home". May 9: "Golden" is listed as a wide release. In February, Universal Pictures announced that it was canceling the film's release completely. See https://variety.com/2025/film/news/pharrell-movie-shut-down-michel-gondry-golden-1236300426/ and other news items listed on the film's page from February 2025. May 16: "Final Destination: Bloodlines" is listed as a limited release. From the theater listings on the film's official site, it appears to be a wide release. May 23: "Lilo & Stitch" is listed as a limited release. It is actually going to be a wide release since it has been projected to gross $120 million its opening weekend. (See https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/lilo-and-stitch-and-mission-impossible-box-office-1236205234/ .) May 23: A film listed as "Untitled Disney" is supposedly a limited release. Whatever this film is supposed to be, IMDbPro now lists it as being released August 7, 2026. (And I question whether it should be listed at all, since there is no way to keep track of which film it is with no cast, crew, or plotline available.)

Jolene: "Thunderbolts" being a wide release, not limited: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/thunderbolts-box-office-solid-opening-1236206794/ "Marvel and Disney Thunderbolts* soared to the top of the domestic chart with an estimated domestic opening of $76 million from 4,330 theaters ...." "Rosario" being released by Mucho Mas Releasing: https://variety.com/2025/film/news/rosario-horror-movie-mexican-migrant-experience-1236385014/ "“Rosario,” now in theaters from Mucho Mas Releasing ...." (I will probably post an update if I find out how many theaters the film was released in.) "Nha Gia Tien"'s English title and distributor: https://www.instagram.com/easternedgefilms/p/DIjOfWFRgqE/ Poster says "The Ancestral Home" with "Nha Gia Tien" right below the English language title, and also says "Distributed by Eastern Edge Films in North America May 9, 2025" "Final Destinations: Bloodlines" being a wide release: https://deadline.com/2024/12/final-destination-bloodlines-flowervale-street-animal-friends-release-dates-1236198323/ "Warner Bros. this morning dated the next iteration of New Line Cinema’s famed horror franchise, Final Destination: Bloodlines for May 16, 2025. It’s the only major studio wide entry on that date." "Untitled Disney": https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl452690689/ links "Untitled Disney" to https://pro.imdb.com/title/tt26443609/ . This title entry under the title Untitled Disney (2026/VIII) has no cast, no filmmakers, and no plot, but does list a release date of August 7, 2026 -- not May 23, 2025. Since the cast, filmmakers, and plot are unknown, it is not clear how this entry even qualified for listing in IMDbPro, but at any rate it doesn't belong on the May 2025 release schedule.

Following up regarding "Rosario", I see that Box Office Mojo reports that it played in 794 theaters this past weekend: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/2025W18/ Since 600 theaters is generally the minimum to qualify as a wide release, the listing of this film as a wide release is correct and does not need to be changed. On the other hand, the same page shows that "The Surfer" played in 884 theaters, which is an even wider release. So "The Surfer" should be changed to a wide release instead of limited. And "Bonjour Tristesse" is listed as a wide release, but it opened in only 228 theaters, and so it should be changed to a limited release instead of wide.
