Solved

two accounts

I have a PRO account : https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm17618403?s=92cce87a-1a4c-cb11-2bb8-873f476f7e64&site_preference=normal and a non pro account with no information. When I try to delete the non pro ( KarenF-14) it wants to delete my pro account. How do I merge or delete the correct account? And I keep getting charged twice!

Karen: Without the link to the non-pro account, I can't look it up, but the fact that the name on it is "KarenF-14" suggests that it is probably a *user* page rather than a *name* page. If the URL to that account includes the following: ...imdb.com/user/ur.... then it definitely is a user page. Your credits would only be listed on a *name* page such as https://www.imdb.com/name/nm17618403/ (note the "...imdb.com/name/nm..." in the URL), while a user page represents you as someone who uses the IMDb and would not list any credits. For comparison, Marilyn Monroe has a name page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000054/), but not a user page, because she died before there was an Internet, while I (gromit82) have a user page (http://www.imdb.com/user/ur1879600/) but no name page because I don't have any film or television credits. Since you have film credits and also use the database, you are supposed to have both kinds of pages. This is explained further in the Help Center at: https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/general-information/what-s-the-difference-between-an-imdb-page-and-user-profile/GHQEDYZ5DJ5Y8G5S A name page and a user page can't be merged with each other, and there is no reason to do so. Regarding the "getting charged twice" issue, you will have to wait for an IMDb staffer to help with that. I don't have information about that problem. I hope this helps.
