About me

Ankita Kumar is a screenwriter from the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune. She assisted national award winning filmmaker Prakash Jha on his film Apaharan. She has written and directed two documentaries for the Ministry of External Affairs namely Maadhyam and Bandhan. Maadhyam was chosen to be the finale film at the erstwhile OSIAN film festival held in New Delhi. She has worked extensively for television. Her latest work is the short film ON DUTY which streamed on JioHotstar and is now available on YouTube for public viewing.
